The first day of summer is just over two months away. And a new survey found 70% of us want to get in better shape before beach body season arrives.
Here are four more stats from the survey . . .
1. The #1 reason people set fitness goals for summer is to lose weight. Boosting your confidence, and getting ready for an upcoming event, like a vacation or wedding season, also made the top five.
2. The top “tricks” we use to get in shape are walking more . . . avoiding sugar . . . avoiding fried foods . . . taking the stairs more often . . . and drinking less.
3. The hardest parts about getting healthy are avoiding sugar . . . working out . . . eating vegetables . . . avoiding snacks at work . . . and eating more fruit.
4. And the top summer activities we’re looking forward to are spending more time outside . . . spending time with family . . . taking walks . . . going on vacation . . . and hitting the beach.
