Missoula County Disaster and Emergency Services has changed the flood stage on the Clark Fork River above Missoula.
The change in flood stage is due to the major flooding of May and June of 2018 in the Orchard Homes area.
The minor flood stage level has been lowered from 10 feet to 7.5 feet.
A flood emergency could be declared as early as Thursday.
