United Way of Missoula and a group of agencies working to reduce homelessness in Missoula will launch a month-long initiative today (Tuesday) to get 40 families and individuals into permanent housing by April 1st. The March Into Home campaign is being coordinated by United Way of Missoula County, Missoula Coordinated Entry System, Missoula Housing Authority, and Reaching Home: Missoula’s 10-Year- Plan to End Homelessness. The group has created a list of incentives they hope will entice landlords and property managers including double deposits, extra damage coverage and rent payments that will come directly from the Missoula Housing Authority.
