The Missoulian reports that running back Jeremy Calhoun on Wednesday was given a 24-month deferred sentence, along with 100 hours of community service and a $500 fine.
Missoula County prosecutors say the victim was trying to break up a fight between Calhoun and another man on June 21 when Calhoun punched the victim in the mouth.
Court records say the victim underwent surgery to replace his lost teeth with implants. Calhoun has already paid the victim about $9,800 in restitution.
Calhoun has served a two-game suspension due to the fight and will be suspended one more game.
