Missoula, MT — Missoula County is partnering with local disaster assistance organizations, businesses and agencies to open a “one-stop shop” for flood-impacted residents called a Multi-Agency Resource Center (MARC). This event will be an open house format and residents should stop by:
The Salvation Army at 355 S Russell St, Missoula, MT 59801 on Wednesday, June 13th between 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.to see what resources are available.
Residents will have the opportunity to learn about how to get assistance, such as home muck out, senior citizen assistance, damage assessments, mold issues, restoration services, wells and septic systems, etc. Personal flood recovery plans can be created based upon specific disaster-caused needs, and care packages and clean up kits will be available while supplies last. Light refreshments will be available.
Representatives from government, nonprofit, community groups, businesses and religiously-affiliated disaster relief organizations will be present at the MARC to assist flood victims. Participants include:
