The Missoula At-Risk Housing Coalition and its partners invite all citizens who are unemployed or underemployed to participate in the second Project Employment Connect.
The event is Friday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will be held at two locations this year.
Most importantly, the event is free of charge and requires no appointment.
It will focus on building and strengthening employment in the Missoula area by offering hands-on help.
Participants can start at Salvation Army at 355 S. Russell St. and receive reading glasses, haircuts, professional resume photographs and interview clothing and then take a shuttle to the Lifelong Learning Center at 310 S. Curtis St. to receive more services: education about job training programs; help from programs for veterans, youth and young mothers; birth certificate and identification assistance; resume support and interview tips; and community resource information.
