At the Child Development Center, our team is lucky to know many amazing kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)! Each child on the autism spectrum has a unique personality. Every one of them has individual strengths and needs.
It’s our role to teach these children skills they need to adapt to the world. We’re asking you to practice autism acceptance by meeting them part way. Acceptance means you support, include and appreciate people on the autism spectrum for who they are, autism and all.
Celebrate Autism Acceptance!
You’re invited to kick off our month-long Autism Acceptance Campaign! The Child Development Center, Karl Tyler Auto Group, and our wonderful partners will host two events, one in Missoula, and one in Kalispell. All proceeds from the events will go to educational toys, technology, and experiences for children with autism who are enrolled at the Child Development Center. Each event will feature art by individuals with autism, raffle prizes, and refreshments. Acceptance T-shirts will also be for sale.
