UNITED WAY FUND TO BENEFIT THOSE DISPLACED BY LOLO PEAK FIRE

MISSOULA, MT – Missoula County officials have designated United Way as the organization to manage donations for those impacted by wildfires in the area.

When making a cash donation it is very important to know your donations are given to a trusted organization that’s qualified  to accept and disperse funds appropriately. The county’s designated United Way of Missoula County to accept donations to aid fire victims. 100% of all donations will go toward that purpose.

You can donate online here.

United Way’s website is currently being updated to include a 2017 Fire Fund option. Until this designation is live, all online donations to United Way’s Community Impact Fund will go to fire victims. As in the past during similar disasters, United Way and 2-1-1 – the Human Resource Council’s helpline – will administer the fund, carefully screening all requests so that funds go to those most in need.
