Scientists at Queen Mary, University of London now say coffee — even as many as 25 cups a day — doesn’t do damage to arteries.
A previous study warned that drinking coffee led to stiffer arteries, which is a cause of health issues like strokes.
The new study surveyed 8,412 adults in the U.K. and split people into three groups based on their coffee consumption: those who drank less than a cup a day, those those who drank between one to three cups, and those who drank more than three a day.
The average was five cups, for the record.
When the numbers were crunched and other data factored in, like weight, blood pressure and other details, the news was good for java junkies.
