Missoula Food Bank & Community Center will serve kids meals during the long winter break from school.
From Monday, December 23 through Friday, January 3, MFB&CC will have healthy meals available during operating hours at EmPower Place, the organization’s onsite child learning center.
Hours are Monday-Friday, 9:30-1:00, and Monday and Thursday from 2:30-7pm. MFB&CC is closed on Wednesday, December 25 and Wednesday, January 1.
In addition, MFB&CC will also serve lunches on weekdays, excluding holidays, at Council Groves Apartments from 11:30-12:30pm; at Travois Village Mobile Home Park from 11:30am-12pm; and at Futura Mobile Home Park from 12:15-12:45pm.
In the drive’s 34th year, the food bank aims to raise $250,000 before December 31. As of December 23, the organization was falling shorter than expected, having raised $145,007.
