Montana - State of Emergency
Governor Steve Bullock has declared a state of emergency in Montana and as such, a statewide mandate with new restrictions goes into effect on Friday, November 20, 2020. Bullock announced yesterday that regardless of a county's case count, masks must be worn in all public places. Restaurants, bars, casinos and breweries will be limited to half of their customer capacity and must close their doors and have all customers out by 10 p.m. This mandate supersedes county and local ordinances, is enforceable by the Attorney General, DPHHS, a county attorney, or other local authorities under the direction of a county attorney. This mandate has no sunset date other than at the end of the Declared Emergency.
